All ballooning flights are wind and weather permitting.
How long does a Ride take?
Plan on about 2 hours: From the start of inflation of the Balloon, flight, landing, pack up and return to the take off spot. Flight time varies on weather conditions. Generally, flights are 40 to 60 minutes. Heat, winds, and landing areas affect the length of time you are in the air.
What should I wear/bring?
Comfortable casual clothing is always recommended on our ballooning excursions. The temperature in the balloon is about the same as on the ground, we recommend :
- Closed toe shoes
- Light jacket
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Camera
Can children take a ride?
The minimum age is 7 years old and a parent must accompany them. The minimum height is 1m and 20cm.
Why a flight can be cancelled?
The safety of the flight depends on weather conditions. If the weather is rainy or windy on the day of the flight, we will be forced to cancel the flight. In this case, the flight will be rescheduled to another date convenient for the passengers.
How can I cancel my booking?
In all other cases (if you changed your mind, missed your flight, etc.) we cannot provide a refund.
If the weather is not suitable for ballooning, the tour will be rescheduled to another date.
Is it safe?
The balloons are flown by certified pilots who calculate the route and flight time based on the weather forecast and current weather conditions. We do not start the flight until the weather conditions are ideal.
Do you have documents/permits to fly?
Yes, we have all the necessary documents and permits to organize commercial flights in Greece.
How to behave during the flight?
Before the flight, the pilot will explain in detail the safety rules of the flight.
The main things to remember are: you must not touch the internal equipment of the balloon (cables, hoses, valves), you must not hang over the side or sit on it, you must not climb in or out of the basket without the pilot's permission.
During the flight you can hold on to the rope loops on the sides of the basket. When the balloon lands, you must bend your knees slightly and hold on to the rope loops well. After landing, you must not leave the basket without the pilot's permission.
